WHEN WE PRAY, WE BELIEVE GOD
There is power in prayer. We trust that God hears us when we pray. We acknowledge that prayer is an important part of every believer’s life. We believe we are to pray always in every situation and cast all our care upon Him. We also believe there is an importance to getting alone in prayer with God.
Prayer is talking to God without pretending. Being honest with him and telling God all; especially your innermost thoughts and feelings and of course remaining quiet before Him. He wants us to take time to listen as well as talk to Him.
In His presence, we will get the help we need to make correct choices and decisions. It’s important to remember that prayer is NOT like ordering what you want and how you want it, as some of us might have learned. In prayer, we learn to wait on God to move, lead us and direct us in the way we need to go.
We encourage you, as you pray, to examine your heart and acknowledge areas where you may need to repent. Get things right by asking God to forgive you and renew you. It is important that as you stand in prayer that you do not hold on to any unforgiveness. As the Lord Jesus forgives us our wrongdoing, ask the Lord to help you to forgive too, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
