Resplendency is...

Resplendency, Inc. is a religious and charitable organization within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.  Its mission is to be a source of encouragement with a focus on walking teachable individuals to a better relationship with God and each other. Resplendency, Inc. intends to reach the world by promoting Godly and healthy living.

Q. How did Resplendency come about?
A. Impressed upon the hearts of Chris and Natalie Young by God, who have been under the leadership of the Holy Spirit encouraging people for over 20 years in ministry.  They are married for over 19 years with three beautiful children and became ordained Pastors in 2003.  Chris and Natalie Young began back in Brooklyn, New York at the Brooklyn Tabernacle under the leadership of Pastor Jim Cymbala where they served as leaders in various ministries. Since then, they have completed numerous ministry training programs, which also included graduating from a 2-year program at International Seminary in Plymouth, FL. They have been encouraging individuals/marriages/families in a variety of ministries.  Currently, they live in the State of Florida where Resplendency was birthed in December 2010.

Resplendency, Inc. is a Christian ministry focused on encouraging teachable individuals. We believe there is a place for every kind of ministry for the furtherance of God’s kingdom and the building up of His saints. We are to share the good news with those who have not yet believed and nurture the faith of fellow believers. We believe we are to be a multitude of people as Revelation 7:9 states “A great multitude of people, nations and languages...” We believe God wants to set people free through the pure and uncompromised Word of God as John 8:32 say, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” We are to worship God with a great multitude (many nationalities) of people. We believe we are to teach people to focus on Christ during worship and not on the person or group who are leading. We believe we are to impact our next generation by equipping them with the Word of God and practical every day life teaching. God wants us to serve who-so-ever. 

Resplendency, Inc. provides biblically based, Christ-centered counseling in all areas of Christian life.*PLEASE BE ADVISED: as church pastors/counselors, we are not professionally, licensed psychologists or psychiatrists.* We simply offer Christian counsel based on the Word of God, and an opportunity for prayer led by the Holy Spirit. It is our desire to inspire accountability and to encourage sensitivity and a keen ear to the Holy Spirit.  Resplendency, Inc. provides encouragement for, but not limited to:

- Pre-marital  (as Pre-Marital Course Providers we would love to have the opportunity to prepare you before saying “I do”)

- Marital

- Family

- Pre-teen/teen issues

Some activities of Resplendency include but are not limited to:
- We are available to assist other leaders (i.e. Pastors, Community Leaders) with teaching and counseling their local Body
- Host prayer meetings, services, fellowships and healthy food gatherings in a variety of settings
- Spur individuals and families to a healthier lifestyle  
- Meet with individuals/couples/families
- Movie reviews done with the purpose of inspiring attentiveness to moral, spiritual and technical elements in films
- Suggest music, worship, concerts and entertainment with the sole purpose of glorifying God
